Olympics going strong!

I should make this post interesting but the reader aka you will determine if it is or not.

I just wanted to talk about the woman’s Olympics……how awesome were they?
Their outfits were fabulous.
The synchronized diving was absolutely superb I wish I can do that. Congrats to the U.S. Women for winning silver!

Moving along from the Olympics (sorry it only happens once every four years, can you blame a girl?), I am looking for critique partners….so if you’re out there….I’m here ๐Ÿ™‚

I should post a book review soon so stay tuned, I’ll announce it on my twitter @elimariereguere <<<<

Have a great day, evening, midday, midnight, morning, night, wherever you are and whatever time it is have a good…life ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hello Olympics!

I don’t know about you but I am very excited for the Olympics. I know what you’re saying, “Me too!”

Great so we are both on the same page! ๐Ÿ˜€

Especially since it takes place in London and I have an odd fascination for that place…yeah, ask anyone I know.

I think the opening ceremony was absolutely fabulous, it wasn’t as big as Beijing but I think the commentators warned us it wasn’t going to be a huge ceremony. I loved the farm workers and then how it transitioned to the Industrial revolution. The children’s dream coming to life was amazing, some people might question, “Why did they do that? Why couldn’t they have glow in the dark dancers instead of children in bed and flying nannies?”

Well to answer that question my fellow reader, Great Britain has so many incredible authors that their work has been known worldwide and has become classics in children literature. Such as Peter Pan, Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie The Pooh, and much, much, more.

Quick side note here: Did anyone else notice that they DID NOT include Narnia in this?

I think Narnia should have been incorperated into the whole Children’s dream thing. C.S. Lewis is an incredible author, just saying.

Moving right along, then we had the internet digital era thing. I got two things to say:

1.) Yes, the house projector was cool, along with the lights and music

2.) What the heck does a teenage girl losing her phone and falling in love with a boy have to do with anything?

I know what you’re going to say, “Cause she lost her phone and without social media and the internet the two love birds would have never reconnected.”

I don’t want to start a fight or anything but, just from my point of view, I didn’t get it, along with the dancing people. BUT!!!! I will admit it was cool, I did enjoy how it went from the 60s to 70s, 80s, and today, the choreography was cool.

The torch was incredible, handed from one generation to the next, love that! โค

Oh! I forgot one more thing, does anyone else think the Queen’s entrance was spectacular?

P.S. If you scroll over the pictures there are some comments, just something extra I decided to add for you ๐Ÿ™‚
